Colly Perkins is our New Patient Coordinator for Oregon Medical Weight Loss, working tirelessly to help build this program since the beginning, almost 10 years now! She started off on the small team in January of 2009 in charge of inventory, building the store brand, and working outside sales and promotions. She has watched the brand flourish from a small side project to a full blown operation helping people reach their personal health goals every day. Colly loves the fact that the educational classes, medically supervised groups and one on one office visits go hand in hand. She says that listening to the patients concerns and needs is our number one priority. Building trust, promoting health and watching patients truly understand and succeed in their endeavors is her passion.
She finds her love of healthy living to be a lifelong pursuit. She has traveled domestically and internationally as a professional tap dancer. When she settled back in Oregon, she opened a dance studio in Lake Oswego where she taught tap and jazz dance for 17 years. Colly met Dr. Gulick, the founder of our clinic, when she came to take a tap class with her daughter in a ‘Mommy & Me” tap class. They struck up a friendship through their mutual love of dance and turned it into a professional one when Dr. Gulick realized Colly’s natural enthusiasm and entrepreneurial drive would be a benefit to the clinics new enterprise.
She has recently started Collywear & Accessories making personalized Personality Pillows & Doggie Daywear. When she is not creating, she is spending time with her husband and her 3 daughters.
