Venay Uecke, Certified Nurse Midwife, developed her interest in Women’s Health Care after working as a doula. She is a native Oregonian who is returning home after 7 yreas of working with the underserved in the Appalachian region. She has attended more than 600 deliveries. She is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. Venay joined Southwest Family Physicians in 2009.

She provides a full complement of women’s care-from yearly pap smears and basic gyn care to providing prenatal and newborn care as well as breastfeeding support. Venay is eager to provide you with specialized care to achieve optimum wellness.
